After working for almost a decade in several animal hospitals in Southern California, we recognized that there was a necessity of a different veterinarian practice; one with a real honest approach to their clients and a truly compassionate care to their patients. More to the point, a veterinary hospital that would provide the good care that your pet needs without emptying your pocket. Here are some great reviews of our services from the local media of Long Beach:

“Not only do the doctors provide high-quality veterinarian care for reasonable costs to the general pet community, the team also extends their compassion for animals by providing quality health care for non-profit pet rescue groups.” (“Primary Care Animal Hospital Comes to Long Beach, CA.” The Pet Post, August 12, 2012. http://www.thepetpost.com/pet-stories/239)

“State-of-the-art equipment, friendly staff and doctors who all live in Long Beach.” (“New Veterinary Opens on Lakewood.” Long Beach Post, August 23, 2012.

HAPPY VET TECH WEEK 🩺🩻💉 We are so incredibly grateful for all of our amazing veterinary technicians who make our hospital run. They’re the behind the scenes faces who care for your pets through the simple procedures - like nail trims and blood draws - to the more complicated - like dental cleanings and anesthesia monitoring.

Thank you to all of our vet techs for your hard work and care for patients every single day ♥️ We couldn’t do this without you.

We’re having a heatwave here in Long Beach 🔥 Please keep your pets safe until the temperatures return to normal! We are seeing cases of heatstroke, so it’s important to take these higher temperatures seriously.

- Keep pets inside or in a cool, shaded area
- Limit activity
- Keep paws off of hot pavement
- Always have access to water

Think your pet is having a heatstroke? Head to your nearest emergency veterinarian!

Check out this cutie - Kiwi- that one of our technicians is fostering 😻 Orphaned kittens this age need to be bottle fed around the clock, which means his foster mom has to bring him into work to hang out with us every day! We aren’t complaining 😽

Our hospital works with many local rescues in our area. We encourage you to get involved with your own local organization - it is so rewarding ❤️ Many rescues financially support the medical needs of the animals in their care, so you just have to provide the shelter and love.
