SoCal Pet Brace Custom Pet Orthotics (Bracing) and Prosthetics.

Lil Miss Rosie is a mini golden poodle mix that was rescued and now with her new home. She’s missing a few toes congenitally that’s causing her wrist to twist inwards when walking. Her parents also observe Rosie sees to have sensitivity on her paws where walking on hard surfaces seems painful.

I’m casting her for a custom “booty”. It’ll give her stability and align her limb in a neutral position to prevent injuries. There’s also extra cushion to give her comfort.

This is Honey and she has somewhat of a special paw (or lack of a paw). She’s getting around just fine but her parents do notice her walks are relatively short before she’s tired. The brace is preventative to keep her paws in correct alignment. Long term stress and compensatory gait can lead to injury and/or arthritis. It’ll take time to adjust and we hope to get updates on her progress! She’s already a trooper and haven’t fought the brace but just slightly confused by it still.
