Update on Dr. Starkey’s daughter:
As many of you are aware, Dr. Starkey’s daughter, Felicia had a Heart and Liver Transplant in September 2025. She has continued to heal over the last few months, and Felicia is doing amazing! Her energy level has surpassed what she has felt her entire life! Her kidneys have come almost back to normal. Her heart has continued to improve in function and has no rejection. Her liver had a little hit with her diagnosis of Post Transplant Lymphoproliferative Disease, PTLD, but her values are almost back to normal! The PTLD is almost completely gone and her last three chemotherapy treatments will be completed soon. Her vocal cord injections have given her voice back to normal as well. Dr appointments have decreased and Dr. Starkey is in the office regular hours! We look forward to seeing all of our amazing clients and furbabies! Call for an appointment so we can get everyone caught up! We will be open tomorrow 12pm- 8pm or you can leave us a message and we will call you back when we get into the office!

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. Please remember that lilies of any sort are toxic to dogs and cats. If anyone is planning on getting flowers, please remind your partners.

The parking lot is plowed thanks to Shady’s Landscaping. The sidewalks are clear and Calcium Chloride (snow melt) is down. The sun is out so the roads should be melting the snow off. We have appointments available, just give us a call! And we need some more kittens and puppies to keep you warm on this cold Monday!
