Hunt County Pets Alive Saving animals thru community education, assisting local rescues by combining efforts and sharing resources to everyone.

HCPA was originally geared to helping other local rescues in getting organized, looking for grants & supplies, etc. For several years, we had a full army of fosters and were able to transfer hundreds of dogs/puppies to other states. HCPA has always been flexible with the direction of our programs. We have limited our intakes this year and are focusing on getting our current animals adopted as they

have been here too long and deserve their own families. Unfortunately, this year, our cat program has been closed and we are no longer in Petco in Greenville. We may occasionally have a cat or kitten available for adoption and do hope this program can be started again at some point in the future. Like all rescues, we are always short on volunteers & fosters and our finances are always a struggle. We are able to continue thru the generosity of others. August 2021

Some days I struggle... I mean REALLY struggle, getting through the daily grind of having a rescue. Then I get these updates on dogs that have gone on to new homes. I received this one today and it renews me to keep on, keeping on! And with the support of so many of you, we're going to continue to work on getting all the HCPA dogs a family! ❤️ 💙 💜
