WE ARE CLOSING FOR THE WEEK!!!!
September 14th-18th!

I will be reaching out to reschedule some appointments. Please be patient with me as I navigate this.

Dad’s heart procedure was successful, but unfortunately, it was not without complications. The procedure lasted from 10:00 a.m. until about 2:30 p.m., and he received the maximum allowable amount of radiation. We will now have to monitor him closely for possible radiation burns.

Everything seemed okay initially, but around 3:30 p.m., the artery at the access site began bleeding. Although the site was stitched closed, blood has continued leaking internally and has created a very large hematoma—approximately six inches across—in his groin area.

The medical team tried applying direct pressure and manually dispersing the hematoma, but the bleeding did not stop. They have now placed a specialized pressure device over the area. It gradually decreases pressure every 15 minutes for six cycles and then remains in place for another three hours.

Dad has been flat on his back since 10:00 this morning. He cannot move his legs, sit up or roll over, and his back is now spasming badly. He is also unable to eat because the medical team needs him prepared in case emergency intervention becomes necessary. Once the pressure device is removed, they will check again to see whether the bleeding has stopped. We do not yet know what the next step will be if it hasn’t.

Please keep Dad, his medical team and our family in your prayers. I appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding and grace while I contact clients and rearrange appointments. ❤️🙏

I have a standard poodle looking for a new home! She is house trained, has been to obedience school and knows basic commands (she may need a tune up) and is a lover! If you’re outside with her she doesn’t run off and comes when you call her back. Gets along with all dogs. Will chase a cat if they run but currently lives with 3 cats. Private message me if you are seriously interested. Owner will be picky about who she goes to. She was a rescue years back but has been in one home since. There will be a vet and groomer reference check if you currently have pets.
