โฅ๏ธ Reba and Wrangler ๐
Reba and Wrangler came to the shelter as strays 186 days ago. Yes, you read that correctly. Reba and Wrangler have been waiting at the shelter for 186 days...
Reba and Wrangler are both 2 years old. We suspect they are siblings or, at the very least, lived in the same house together.
They are timid when meeting new people, but have never shown any type of aggression. They can just be super shy! They prefer when people go slow when first meeting them, but soon melt like butter in your hands when they get their first pets.
They are playful, happy, and healthy dogs. They do not need to be adopted together. However, we can't imagine Wrangler living without Reba. He has a hard time being without her.
Both of these dogs have sponsored adoption fees. The only thing they are waiting for is someone to give them a second chance at life.
Both dogs play with other dogs at the shelter, but slow introductions to any new pets in the home is strongly encouraged. We do not have any history with them with cats. We think they would be fine with respectful, older children in the home.
Please make time to share this post and help us spread the word about our longest residents at the shelter.
Can't adopt, but want to foster? Come fill out a short foster agreement with us and we will happily give these two a much deserved break out of their kennel walls! Fostering is FREE and can be up to 14 days.
We are open 12 to 5 Monday through Saturday at 700 Water Street. We look forward to seeing you there!
