Thank you to all who visited and volunteered at our first ever Cat Cafe today with the Logansport Parks & Recreation Department :) Black Dog Coffee also made the event so special.

Three cats found their forever homes from the event, one received a sponsored adoption fee from our good friend Nikki Malott for Eel Township Trustee and we raised over $100 in donations!

We can't wait to have another and we hope to see you there! Stay posted for that date when it is set :)

Cat Cafe - 11 to 1 at Riverside Park

Come down and see us at our pop up Cat Cafe at Riverside Park in the McHale Complex next to the Carousel. We will be down here today until 1 doing adoptions on site, selling t-shirts, and drinks from Black Dog Coffee!

Thank you to all who adopted, donated, and volunteered during the month of August!

We are currently housing 76 cats/kittens and 32 dogs at the shelter with an additional 33 cats/kittens in foster care and 8 dogs in foster care. We are operating at absolute MAXIMUM capacity.

Most of our dog adoption fees are $25 (if they have stayed with us 60 days or longer) and ALL of our cats and kittens can be adopted for a fee of $25 or two for $30.

If you have considered adopting, fostering, or volunteering before, NOW is the time! We would love to have you visit during the open hours of 12 to 5 Monday through Saturday so we can figure out where you would like to help out.

🐱 Cat AND Kitten Adoption Special - $25 🐱

Looking to add a feline friend to your home? Look no further! Starting today until the foreseeable future, all cats and kittens adoption fees are just $25 or two for $30.

Our kennels are full and we have 76 cats in the shelter with an additional 33 in foster homes. We are at critical capacity and NEED adopters!

All cats and kittens are fixed, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on flea/tick prevention.

We are open 12 to 5 Monday through Saturday and we are located at 700 Water Street.

🤩Who wore it better? 🤩

After learning who he was named after, adoptable Benson decided to try a new look to help him find his forever home. We think it was an excellent fashion choice!

Benson is a 1 year old, male, Labrador Retriever who came to the shelter as a stray. We cannot believe no one came to claim him. However, he would love to sing and dance his way straight into your heart and into your home!

Benson is a super friendly, lovable boy. He does have a lot of playful, puppy energy, so his new owner will need to make sure to give him lots of exercise!

Benson is neutered, up to date on all vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and up to date on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $125.
