Eggs were pulled in for the night due to freezing weather. They will be out tomorrow by noon. Someone stopped by tonight, but didn't knock or speak with us.

Text or call and we can always get some from in the house if there aren't some outside. Phone number is on the porch fridge.

Edited to add: we are out of geese eggs. I'll update if we get any more.

I've had a little bit of interest in Jett recently, so figured I'd post some updated photos and info.

He's 4 yrs old, a little over 15.0 hh now (60.5"). EEaaTT double homozygous black and tobiano stallion. We will have 2 foals from him this year (1 in spring, one in late summer). He's been doing great out on trails and in the arena. Rode down the road this year and no issues with cars or bikes.
Very solid, quiet, respectful personality. Lives with 2 pregnant mares that keep him in check.

Our kitchen chick Nellie upgraded to living with our 5 yr old blind Mille le fleur hen Flower. Super cute to see how Nellie follows Flower around. And Waynie, Flower's roo partner makes an appearance at the end. Names courtesy of our two boys.

Well, we have a kitchen chicken. Someone approached us tonight at the park in Lodi and asked us if we wanted a chick. I guess they bought it for a family member (for Easter?), but that person didn't want it.

So if anyone else knows of any chicks that need a soft landing due to Easter, we're now set up with a chick brooder. Luckily, we're well versed and had supplies already. Pretty sure "she" is a buff orpington. Was told "she's" a hen. 🤞

* You can't see it well, but there's a heat plate in the kennel.*
