Everything.

This is everything. This is why we do it. Not for money. Not for clout. Not for fun (although, I will admit, it is sometimes fun.)

We do it for the connections, the people, and the patients. We do it because it's what's in our hearts.

We do it for the success stories that defy the odds, the ones that we weren't sure would make it, the puppies we've watched grow to senior citizens, the sick and injured cats we've rescued and rehabilitated into loving forever homes, and, most importantly, for the pets we're able to give comfort to at the end of their journeys.

We invest so much of our selves into you and your pets. It is truly so much more than a job.

Yes, I have kept and treasured every single thank you I've ever been written. And, yes, I cried big tears reading most of them. This touches my heart in such a big way. I am so grateful for each and every one, and I'm grateful to you for allowing me into your lives and trusting me to care for your pets.

Hey, y'all! Three important bits of information to follow:

Firstly, the clinic will be closed Tuesday, February 3. Riley and I each have family having procedures that day, and you all know we believe family comes first. We'll be here until 6 pm Monday, and we'll return at 7 am Wednesday. We ALWAYS recommend MedVet for emergencies. 🏥

Secondly, we've heard rumor we're closing permanently aka going out of business. Put the tea back in the cup. We're here to stay. ☕️

Lastly, for your entertainment during this way too cold weekend, enjoy this trailer made by the smaller Rylie (the daughter, not the vet assistant). It's our house buns' film debut. 😎

🥳 Today is Riley's birthday!! If you get the chance today, please wish her the very happy birthday she deserves for the many hours she devotes to caring for all of our pets! 🥳
