Big changes are coming! 🦎🐍🐢

We’re excited to announce that this page is now under new ownership and will soon become the official page for The Critter Spot — a brand-new reptile and exotic pet store coming to Joliet!

Over the next few weeks, you’ll notice the page name and content changing as we prepare for our grand opening, which we’re hoping will be sometime in July.

Our goal is to create a fun, welcoming place for reptile lovers of all experience levels, with quality animals, supplies, feeders, and more. We can’t wait to share updates, behind-the-scenes progress, new arrivals, and opening details with everyone.

Thanks everyone! The shop is permanently closed as of today— a lot of you are asking where to get your feeders— my brother’s shop has everything— Animal Island in Midlothian. There’s also Chicago Reptile House in Orland, 3 Rivers Pets in Coal City and CEF Pets in Monee! There’s nothing quite like a mom and pop shop, so please continue to shop small businesses!

We have live pinkies, pups, mice and rats in today! Stop in before 7pm! We also have a ton of stuff in our $5 bins!! We have a bunch of 15 gallon used fish tanks for $10 each!!
