This handsome guy was due for a tune up!

As our equine friends get a little older, keeping them comfortable and moving their best becomes even more important. Regular evaluations and proactive joint care can help support mobility, comfort, and quality of life, keeping our horses happy and active for years to come.

A little maintenance goes a long way!

Give us a call today to schedule your evaluation.

We're back at it!!

This handsome guy was presented to us with a growth on his face that had started out small but slowly continued to grow over time. After discussing the options with his owner, the decision was made to remove the mass.

This is a perfect example of why it’s so important to regularly check your horse for any new lumps, bumps, growths, or other abnormalities. Even something that starts out small is worth keeping an eye on, and having your veterinarian take a look if you notice it changing.

We’re happy to report that everything went smoothly, and this guy is recovering well after his minor procedure!

Fall vaccine season is upon us!

This year is a little different than previous years. The El Niño weather pattern is causing changes in mosquito season and we are expected to see mosquitos well through the winter this year. As a result, it is encouraged to consider boostering horses for mosquito borne diseases including West Nile Virus and Eastern Equine Encephalitis this fall.

This is especially important if your horses will be traveling to warmer parts of the country this winter, or if they happened to miss spring vaccinations this year. Follow the link below for more information and consider adding a booster appointment for your horse this fall. Give us a call to schedule!

From mosquitoes to ticks to screwworm, new forces are reshaping equine health this summer.
