We had one of those really special days at Bear Creek Ranch today that just reminds you how much the right people matter.
We were so fortunate to have a new local farrier, Elizabeth Alexander, come out—and I’m still smiling about how it all went. Every single horse stood quietly—even the stallions—which says everything. The whole barn just felt calm and easy.
What meant the most to me was our Quarter Horse broodmare with significant arthritis. Those are the moments that really count. Elizabeth handled her with such patience, kindness, and feel, and did a truly beautiful job with her trim.
It’s not often you find someone who brings that kind of presence to the horses.
Feeling very grateful tonight. Thank you, Elizabeth Alexander—we’re so glad you came out to Bear Creek Ranch. If you’re local and looking for a farrier, she’s absolutely worth reaching out to 🤍
