Enjoy the sights and sounds of restoration in this video!
Towards the end of each season, I dedicate time to working on restoration projects that have been collected over the past year. The Long Horn skull, as seen in the initial part of the video, was brought to me in a deteriorated state. Its brittle structure, lack of a nose piece, and presence of rat and squirrel chew holes indicated prolonged exposure to the elements. Furthermore, the horns were badly scaled. Following restoration, which included polishing the horns, resculpting the skull, and applying a Vanilla paint coat for a weathered rugged look, this piece is set to display remarkably well on the wall.
