Three of our riders had a fun morning at the Madison County Open Show! Huge shoutout to Katie for winning a pretty big Ranch class and earning a blue ribbon for the first time ever! I love seeing these kids' hard work pay off. Reagan did very good with Skunk, she kept him super calm and consistent in all of her rail classes, which anyone who knows Skunk, knows that is not an easy thing to do. This was Ashlyn's first time ever showing in non-EWD classes and she handled the environment and all added stresses like a champ! So proud of these kids and their ponies!

Last Saturday, we had a group of 12 compete at the Ohio Standardbreds and Friends Open Show in Circleville. Overall, the Keeton Performance Horses Team brought home 98 medallions🔥!!! We had several first time show-ers and every single one of them did amazing! Super proud of each of these horse loving people. Shout out to Dianna, Stacy, Gabby and Tiffiny for stepping out of their comfort zone and competing in a massive Mother's Day Western Pleasure Class. This was Katie, Maddie and Jace's first open/pleasure show and both placed top 2 several times! Super proud of little Isabella who had her first ever show and took 1st place in all three of her classes! Way to go everyone! Thank you Dianna, Stacy and Noah for hualing the horses. Thank you Megan Smith for being an awesome kid-friendly judge. Thank you Debbie Guiles Schiff for hosting a fun show. Thank you Audrey Francis for always being so kind and supportive to my kids, they all look up to you!

On Saturday, we had a great group to start the Madison County OHC Gymkhana Series. It was Jace and Jess' first ever horse shows and both placed Top 5. Zoe worked one of our training horses through slow, clean, focused and correct patterns. I'm so proud of all these riders and their horses. We are excited to he back next month!

We had our first open show of 2026 yesterday! We love the Madison County Open Show Series and have been coming to this one for years. It continues to improve each time. Our crew did really well and performed great. This was Destiny and Anna's first real show. Both did fabulous and placed top 5 a few times! We took a young horse that's in our training program to get some experience miles on and he handled the environment like a pro. He has never seen a show before and placed top four in two classes. Super proud of this little gelding and how far he's come in just a short few weeks. I'm so blessed to be around these horse loving humans with such a hard work ethic! Shoutout to the barn fam for coming and supporting our exhibitors Saturday. Thank you to the MC Open Show Series for putting on a great show and thank you to Terry Myers for being a patient and excellent Judge. We will be back for the next one!

We had a group of 11 at the third RRR Youth Rodeo over the weekend. They all have already improved so much from last month. This was Brooklyn's first Youth Rodeo and she had very clean runs and grew so much in her confidence! Super proud of all these kids, excited to see what next month's rodeo looks like!

10 of our kiddos had their second RRR Youth Rodeo over the weekend. They all have already improved so much from last month. This was Elise's first Youth Rodeo and she rocked it, even placed in two of her classes. It was also Kaylee's first Youth Rodeo and it was great experience for Mia, excited to see where this pair ends up. Super proud of all these kids!
