Ash Street Farm & Hatchery Llano

Ash Street Farm & Hatchery Llano Right now preditors have about cleaned out my ducks chickens and geese. I have duck eggs incubating, and no chicken eggs fertile.

I do have about 24 chickens, only 2 are laying. the other pullets will be laying in the fall if no more disasters happen.

https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1D1xGFkgj7/ My room mate Christian holding my gander, George. Isn't he a big boy? and very unhappy having to be held. lol
I have one gander and hopefully 4 geese, but one has wry neck that I am treating, and if she doesn't make it, I'll only have 3 geese for George to be the gander for.
I hope to incubate goose eggs eventually and see the babies.
but thus far having such bad luck with my goose babies. I lost one to a dog, and now Trudy, my gosling is sick.

I've got 11 pullets for discussion.
Leghorns, Rode Island reds, Plymouth Rocks. They are past needing to be in a brooder. But not yet mature enough to lay eggs. may be mature around August.

This is Randy Jr. His dad was also named Randy.
Hatched November 25th 2025. He follows me around, gets in my way, but I love him.

They say birds of a feather flock together. My 4 Lady Leghorns a few weeks ago. These were my first chickens. I bought them March 27th, 2025 at Tractor supply. This March 27th they'll be one year old. My best layers and foragers. I incubated a few of their eggs when I had Randy the plymouth rock rooster. And now I have about 5 Prock legs as I call them. lol Plymouth Rock and Leg horn mix, I figured that was the most appropriate breed to call them.
