WE CAN’T GO EVERYWHERE WITH YOU… SO WE FOUND A BACKUP. 🐾

Cool stuff for our people.

So… we know Mom and Dad are pretty cool when we’re around.

Obviously. We’re there.

But occasionally they leave the house WITHOUT US.

We don’t understand it either.

Since we can’t be there to make them look cool, we figured they should at least wear something that reminds everyone they belong to a dog. 😂🐾

Enter: Apparel Outpost.

Dog shirts. Dog sweatshirts. Dog-parent swag. Basically everything our humans need to make up for the fact that their best accessory had to stay home.

🐾 Bella’s Treat Tip of the Day 🦴

Hi, friends!

Bella here... the Seasoned Shepherd. 🐶

I’ve accepted treats professionally for many years, so I’d like to save a few human fingers today.

Let’s clear something up...

We’re not trying to bite you.

But the second we see a treat...

Our sweet, well-mannered personalities take a brief vacation.

For about 0.7 seconds...

🦖 We become tiny velociraptors.

All we can think is...

TREAT... TREAT... TREAT... TREAT... TREAT!!

Here’s the trick...

🍕 Deliver the pizza... I mean, the treat... to us!

Instead of dangling it between your fingers, place the treat near the palm of your hand, hold it gently with your thumb, and deliver your palm to our mouth—just like you’re handing us a slice of pizza.

That gives us a bigger target, helps us take the treat more gently, and greatly improves your chances of keeping all ten fingers. 😄

Trust me...

I’m a seasoned shepherd.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Every beautiful chapter eventually leads to the next wonderful one—and what a remarkable chapter this has been! I am thrilled to share that I will be shifting from group training classes to in-home private training sessions at the end of April.

My 15 years of teaching people how to build trust, communication, and joy with their dogs—without fear, pain, or intimidation—has been incredibly rewarding work. This work will keep going; it’s just moving to a more personal, one-on-one setting.

A huge, heartfelt thank you to Jennifer for so generously opening up a beautiful training room for me to hold my classes all of these years!

I’m endlessly grateful to Tracy, my friend and the world’s best assistant. This has been an absolute blast!

To every single one of you who has supported my group classes and continue to support Training Buddies, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I couldn’t have done it without you.

If you're interested in one-on-one private training, please don't hesitate to reach out.

If you’re looking for group classes, I highly recommend my friends at Trust & Obey Pawsitive Dog Training in Plymouth and K9 Turbo Training in Ferndale. If they’re a bit of a distance for you, trust me, they’re absolutely worth the drive!
