🐾 Keeping Our FURbabies Healthy🐶

​We know it can be a bit worrying when you hear your baby start to cough, so we wanted to share a few quick reminders for our FURbabies family:

​It’s Not Always "Kennel Cough":
Drastic temperature swings and seasonal allergens can irritate a dog's throat and lungs, leading to a dry or hacking cough that presents similar to that of the highly contagious "Kennel Cough". To be on the safe side, consult a veterinarian for a proper diagnosis and treatment plan because either of these coughs, left untreated in some dogs, could lead to serious long-term consequences, including death.

​The Vaccine Factor: While we require up-to-date vaccinations, specifically Bordetella for "kennel cough" which is like a human flu shot—these vaccines provide great protection, but your pup can still catch a "cold" or show symptoms.

​Rest is Best: If your dog is coughing, lethargic, or just not feeling like their usual spunky self, please keep them home from the Hotel and Spa for a few days.

​💛 Our Priority is Protection and keeping a coughing pup home isn’t just about rest—it’s about looking out for all their playmates! We want to ensure our FURbabies remain in a safe, healthy, and happy environment for everyone.
