We just got the sweetest review šš-
I canāt say enough good things about the ladies gun dog weekend with Transformed Training and Marlen Gundogs. Ashlin and her husband, Will, were incredible hosts! They made sure everyone felt welcome right from the start, and it truly felt like being at home with friends.
The whole weekend was relaxed and encouraging! Ashlin is the kind of trainer who meets you where you are. She never once made anyone feel āless than,ā and she genuinely believes every dog has potential, which makes a huge difference when youāre learning and trying something new.
The Camp at 5E was the perfect setting. There was plenty of space for both people and dogs to spread out and work. The weekend was well organized and flexible. Everything flowed naturally from one activity to the next.
And the food⦠Donna or as we started calling her, āCuisine Queen,ā did not miss once!! Every meal was something to look forward to, never over the top, and hit the spot!
I learned so much working my dog. Even though GSPs arenāt traditionally known as waterfowl dogs, Ashlin and Tyler from Marlen Gun Dogs helped me better understand her high drive and how to work with it, not against it. We were split into groups, and I really appreciated how each person got individual attention based on their dogās level and needs.
The clay shoot and competition with awesome prizes from Houndstooth Game Calls added to the fun, but honestly, one of the best parts was just the fellowshipāspending time with a group of strong, supportive, like-minded women who love dogs as much as I do.
Already looking forward to coming back in the fall to hopefully show off what we have worked on and build on our training even more. I could write a book! The more I reflect on it, the happier I am that I jumped in and did something like this. Kinda life changing!
10/10!
