Diamond went back to her kennel today. 💔
For several nights, Diamond got to experience something she has never known: a home.
The last place Diamond lived wasn’t really a home at all. She spent her life confined to a basement kennel, only brought out when she was used for breeding. She was emaciated, covered in scars and cigarette burns. When she came to us, we knew she deserved so much more than that. Unfortunately she’s still with us 256 days later🥺
On her sleepover, Diamond showed us exactly who she is when given the chance.
She became the ultimate house hippo. She claimed her spot on the couch, accepted every snuggle offered, nibbled happily at her kibble, snoozed peacefully, and enjoyed the simple pleasure of going outside in a fenced yard to do her business. She soaked up every bit of love she could find.
And the best part? Diamond doesn’t ask for much.
She doesn’t need fancy adventures or endless excitement. Diamond dreams of a safe, cozy home where she can finally relax and know she belongs. A soft couch, a comfy bed, and people to love her are all she really wants. She’s a lazy person’s dream dog!
A home with children would be a huge bonus! More hands for head pats, more laps for leaning on, and more people to adore her. She absolutely lights up around people and wants nothing more than to be part of a family. The ONLY restriction she has is she needs a home with no other animals!
After everything she’s been through, it’s time for Diamond to stop visiting homes and finally have one of her own.
Diamond’s adoption fee is sponsored, so she’s also free!🤑
