Exciting news! Starting today we will open sign ups for our 4th of July photos!🎆 When signing up we ask that you please let us know a specific day of the week you would like your dogs photo taken on and whether or not you want the photo printed! For all of the photos we don’t print out it will be sent to the number you have on file, these will be $5. As for printed photos, they will be $8 and will be handed out starting June 30th! We are limiting the photos to 20 dogs a day so we can take our time and get the best possible photo! Our managers’ dogs have kindly volunteered to show you what your photos will look like😍 You can message, comment on this post, or let us know at drop off/pick up if you’d like their photo taken!

Lots of changes happening at The Cove! Jesse, who has been by my side as my manager for 6 years now and one of my biggest support systems, has moved away to begin a new chapter in his life. From assessing and making sure the dogs are kept safe and do well here, managing the day to day procedures and staff, keeping the building in good shape and standing 😂... His absence is already felt, and there aren't enough words to accurately explain what he has done for me, your dogs, and this business during his time here. We are wishing him nothing but the best and thank him soo much for everything he has done here for us 🫶🏻

Bouncing off of that, Bri & Kate have stepped up to take over the manager roles and have already started putting their own creative flare on The Cove 🤩 We owe it all to them for the new photo shoots, treat days, TikToks, and fun activities they have in store for your pups! They also surprised me this morning with a birthday celebration. Most of you have been with me since I started this journey when I was 24 years old. More often than not I was younger than all of my staff, and now I'm somehow 31 and the adult 😂🫣 My biggest thank you to them for helping me to continue giving your pups the best possible experience here, and having fun with it!

We have so many exciting things coming up. Renovations, upgrades, more fun toys and activities to be added. We also re-signed our lease, so y'all are stuck with us for another 5 years 🤪🥳 Thank you so much to all of you for your support, love, gifts, and sharing your pups with us these past 7 years. We can't wait for many more! 💜

Another one of our OG dogs has left a big hole in the heart of The Cove. I've had the pleasure of taking care of Nelli for 9 years now. Countless sleepovers, car rides, daycare dates... there was no dog sweeter than her, and you never found her away from her sister's side (even though I'm pretty sure you enjoyed it when she did venture off for a bit 🤪) We will miss playing in the pools with you for your VIP spa time, forcing Etta to stay by your side when it was nap time, listening to you bark at/tell all the young rowdy dogs to settle down during the chaos 😂 We will miss you and hope you are resting in so much peace. We love you Nell! 😢🌈💜

Good morning everyone! Just a gentle reminder of how important it is that if your dog is sick with stomach issues, a URI, or any type of symptoms that could be an illness or injury to please keep them at home until they are feeling better. We do absolutely everything in our power to keep your pups safe when it comes to cleaning/disinfecting, making sure dogs are up to date on their vaccines, supervising them, grouping them appropriately to avoid scuffles, etc. but we also can only do so much. Dogs have sharp teeth and claws, they come down with colds just like children at school, they have bad days, they are wrestling and mouthing at each other, running into things, finding things to chew - and they are allowed to be wild and have fun! But some things truly are out of our control. We always hate to see any of those things happen, or not get to see your pup anymore, but we also absolutely understand when people are just no longer comfortable taking those risks. And as always, if you ever have any questions or concerns, never hesitate to reach out. We appreciate all of you and your understanding of the craziness that comes with dog daycare, and continuing to support us 🐶💜
