Reflecting on what an amazing time we had at Desert International Horse Park this winter. Our horses and riders, both old and new partnerships, had a successful few weeks out in the desert in big classes and amongst great competition. Highlights include:

🏆 Candor Z & Sheila Hart: Champion in the AO Hunter 36 & Over

🏆 MHS Enable & Kelley Buringa: Champion in the 1.20 Young Jumpers with her new horse

🥇Starman & Julie Rifkin: Reserve Champion in the Walk/Trot Hunter Poles

🥇KT Odieu: 1st in the Adult Hunters 36-49, 4th in the $1,500 NAL/WIHS Adult Hunter Classic, and high scores in the $10,000 USHJA National Hunt & Go Hunter Derby

Clin D’Or & Madison Sears: 10th in the $5,000 NAL Amateur Jumper Classic and several other clear rounds in the 1.20 Amateur Jumpers

Murciélago & Waverly Oppenheimer: Solid rounds for this new pair in the USEF/NCEA Junior Medal, THIS National Child Medal, and Children’s Hunter 14-17

KT Itopia & Morgan McCord: Several top 3 finishes in the 1.10 Amateur Jumpers 18-35 for this pairs first show together

Jumping into June.

Last month a couple of us went to the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington and had a blast!

Madison Sears & Clin D’Or (pictured) competed in the Low Jr/Am 1.20-1.25 jumpers with great success, double clean rounds and ribbons.

Bri Davis & Icelight Villers had great rounds & ribbons in the Young Hunters 3’3”. Did we mention that this awesome gelding is for sale?!

As we head into the summer months we can’t wait for our show schedule: on the docket is Summer in the Rockies at the Colorado Horse Park and Lamplight at HITS Chicago.
