Humane Society of Pulaski County HSPC is Central Arkansas's largest and oldest no-kill shelter, serving Pulaski County since 1946. We have been rescuing animals since 1946.

The HSPC is a private no-kill shelter, supported solely by donations, fund-raisers, bequests and grants. We receive no city, county or state funding, nor are we affiliated with any other organization.

🐾This adorable 1-year-old hound mix acts a little wild in her kennel, but once out, she just wants to chill with her people. And apparently she’s kind of a couch potato!

❤️Bonnie was so good on The Vine this morning.

🐾She rode great in the car, explored the Weather Garden and the studio, patiently waited her turn and then turned on the charm.

🍪On the way back, we stopped by Community Bakery to pick up a gift certificate that they are generously donating for our 35th Reigning Cats and Dogs. They had Dolly Parton cookies on sale, with proceeds benefitting her Imagination Library, so we had to get one.

✨Great morning!

✅Now Bonnie just needs a family. Come meet her today.

🐾We have 4 new babies born yesterday at the shelter.

😍It’s been a wild kitten season and we’ve been so happy to see so many adorable babies find their homes.

🏡As you can imagine, getting all those babies ready for adoption takes a lot.
