Meet Your Match Monday presents Alexi!

Alexi is super sweet and cuddly and loves to play with his other kitten 🐱 friends.
His foster home had big dogs and adult cats and he did great with them all. ❤️
He’s super affectionate and has a big, loud, happy purr. 😻

Meet the delightful Chester! Someone has obviously shared a lot of time and love with this boy. ❤️
Chester is very potty trained, he takes treats ever so politely, and he’s so gentle and sweet.

He’s one of FOUR Rottweilers currently available at Little Rock Animal Village!

Chester is estimated to be around 4 years old and weighs 75lbs.

We could not be more proud of our friend, Spero! 

This sweet little corgi mix has been through a lot lately. After being diagnosed with intervertebral disc disease (IVDD) and experiencing paralysis, Spero and his incredibly devoted owner suddenly had a whole new set of challenges to navigate.

But apparently no one told Spero that this was supposed to slow him down. 😂

With lots of love, care, and determination, he has made amazing progress. He now has his very own set of wheels, and watching him cruise around in his wheelchair like it’s no big deal might be one of our favorite things ever. He is happy, determined, and just as full of personality as he’s always been.

Spero has also been coming to see Dr. McCarthy for acupuncture as part of his ongoing care, and we absolutely love getting to be part of his journey.

We’re so proud of this little guy—and we have so much admiration for the human who has loved him through every bit of it. ❤️

Keep rolling, Spero. Nothing is slowing you down. 🐾🦽❤️

Hey friends! I wanted to share something new that I’m genuinely really excited about. ❤️

We know that everything is more expensive right now. Groceries, utilities, insurance…all of it. And we’ve been listening when our clients tell us that while budgets may be tighter, one thing they don’t want to compromise on is taking good care of their pets.

The hard part is that veterinary expenses don’t always happen at a convenient time. Sometimes it’s the dental cleaning you know your pet needs, a surgery you’ve been trying to plan for, or even just wanting to do the whole wellness visit — exam, vaccines, bloodwork and preventatives — without having to pay for everything all at once.

So, we’ve added Cherry payment plans as a new option at Cantrell Animal Clinic! 🍒

Cherry allows you to split the cost of your pet’s care into more manageable payments instead of having to come up with the entire amount upfront. I never want someone standing in an exam room feeling like the only thing determining what we can do for their pet that day is whether they have all of the money available right that minute. We may not be able to take the financial part out of veterinary medicine completely, but if we can give our clients a little more flexibility, I think that matters.

I’m really excited to be able to offer this, and I hope it opens up some possibilities for our patients and the people who love them. ❤️
