Last year, this corner in the River Market was just another empty storefront.
Today it's where you come for dental chews on your lunch break, where your dog gets recognized before you do, and where a bad week turns into a good one because someone here remembers your pet's name.
That's not something you can manufacture. It's what happens when you show up, every day, in the same neighborhood, for the same people, long enough for it to become mutual.
