She's fully vetted, spayed and potty trained. Looking for a foster or foster to adopt home ASAP. Beautiful Melina! Her foster pulled her from Little Rock Animal Village, hoping to find her a great home. She is only 32 lbs of pure sweetness! She will not get any bigger, so she is the perfect size! Melina would do best in a household with women only, as she is leery of men. We are looking for a new foster or permanent home for this sweet girl.

I've been fostering a medium-sized 1.5-year-old hound mix rescued by Abbey Road Canine Rescue, and she needs a new home. She's a genuinely good dog — just not the right fit for my household.

Here's the honest part: she does best with women. She's relaxed, playful, and affectionate around women (and dogs). She gets stressed around men, which is why she needs a different environment than mine.

We usually try & keep things positive but we are overwhelmed with calls from people surrendering their pets or their parents pets, who have passed away, gone to nursing homes or just can't take care of them. Sad state of affairs that no one wants to think about. 😢

LET THIS SINK IN 💔🐾💔

If the place you're renting doesn't allow dogs ~ find another place that does.

If your boyfriend or girlfriend doesn't like your dog ~ find another boyfriend or girlfriend.

If you're moving out of state ~ be as loyal to your dog as he has been to you. Take him along with you.

If you're not willing to commit to a dog for ALL of his life ~ DON'T GET A DOG.

If you STILL refuse to make it work ~ have the decency to reach out to a reputable rescue to intake your family .. their life depends on it. Literally.
