🐾 Apparently my weekend schedule has officially been taken over by paws. 😂

Yesterday was a little bit of everything — drop-ins, walks, lots of happy tails, and one very special sleepover. ❤️🐶

Today is looking pretty much the same: more visits, more walks, more cuddles, more treats, and me talking to everyone like they completely understand every word I’m saying. 😂

Honestly, there are worse ways to spend a weekend than going from house to house being greeted like a celebrity by dogs and cats. 🐾💕

Thank you, as always, to my amazing clients for trusting me with your babies. I love getting to keep them happy, comfortable, and spoiled while you’re away.

🐾❤️ EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH! ❤️🐾

I thought it was about time I introduced everyone to the guy who does a whole lot behind the scenes at Little River Pet Sitter — my husband, Bob (Bobby). ❤️

Now, technically, calling him my “employee” may be a bit of a stretch since I’m pretty sure he has never received an actual paycheck from me. 😂 But the truth is, I couldn’t do what I do without him.

Bobby is amazing with both dogs and cats, and many of my clients’ pets have gotten to know and love him. When my schedule gets crazy, he’s right there helping me care for everyone. And if he’s not helping take care of somebody else’s fur babies, chances are he’s taking care of me. ❤️

A little about the man behind the pet sitter: Bobby is a U.S. Navy veteran who served for five years, including time aboard the USS America. 🇺🇸 We’ve been married almost 35 years, and next year we’ll celebrate that milestone by renewing our vows. ❤️

We’re originally from Massachusetts and have called Heather Glen home for the past four years. We have three wonderful adult sons and two beautiful grandchildren, and family — both the two-legged and four-legged kind — is a pretty big part of our lives. 🐾❤️

Little River Pet Sitter may have my name on it, but there is definitely a team behind it. I honestly don’t think my business would be as successful as it is without Bobby’s help and support.

So this month, I’m officially giving him the recognition he deserves…

One of the best parts of being a pet sitter is getting to spend my days loving on sweet little guys like Bobby while their people are away. ❤️

Many of you know me through my pet-sitting business, but I wanted to share something very personal.

On May 25, our family lost Amber at just 28 years old.

While Amber was not my biological daughter, Bob and I have been her parents for the past 16 years and have been part of her life since the day she was born. We loved her as our own, and her loss has left a hole in our hearts that words cannot adequately describe.

Amber’s greatest love was her daughter, Grace, who is just 14 months old. As Grace grows up without her mother, we want to help ensure she has the love, support, and opportunities Amber would have wanted for her.

Several people have asked how they can help, so I am sharing Grace’s fundraiser. The funds will be used to support Grace’s future and help her father, James, as he navigates raising her on his own.
