🎉 Veterinary Receptionist Week 2025 is happening April 20–26 Today, we proudly honor Ashley!

Ashley joined us six years ago as a Veterinary Receptionist, and through her hard work and dedication, she now oversees the day-to-day operations of the entire clinic. Her journey is a true testament to her commitment and leadership.

Ashley’s favorite part of working at LAH is witnessing the joy on clients’ faces—whether they're introducing a new pet to the family or celebrating improvements in their pet’s health. She also deeply values the spirit of teamwork that drives the high-quality care we provide every day.

Outside of work, Ashley enjoys hiking with her husband and dogs, and cherishes quality time with her family, which includes her two children and a lively pack of seven dogs—six of whom are beloved foster pets she couldn’t resist adopting.

Her kindness, dedication, and positive spirit make a difference every single day—for our clients, their pets, and our entire team. We’re grateful to have her as part of our veterinary family! 💙🐾

Today, we celebrate Cheryl in honor of Veterinary Receptionist Week!

Cheryl began her career with us in 1990, and this year marks an incredible 35 years of dedicated service. Cheryl has brought warmth, wisdom, and kindness to our team—and to every client and patient she meets.

Cheryl’s favorite aspect of the position is the variety of animals she encounters—from owls and goats to parrots, snakes, mini horses, and of course, beloved cats and dogs. She especially treasures watching pets grow from their very first visit and caring for them throughout their lives.

Outside of work, Cheryl stays active attending Silver Sneakers classes four times a week and participating in church activities. She and her husband are proud parents to two daughters, grandparents to four wonderful grandchildren, and pet parents to three sweet dogs—Bella, Buffie, and Wiggles.

We’re so grateful for Cheryl’s years of commitment, compassion, and heart. 💛

Today, we proudly shine the spotlight on Tammy. Her favorite part of the job is creating positive experiences for clients and supporting them in caring for their beloved pets. Tammy’s compassion and dedication make her an invaluable part of our team.

Outside of work, Tammy enjoys quality time with her husband and their five children. She finds joy in expressing her creativity through crafting, relaxing by a bonfire with friends and family, and spending time at the beach.

Carlee consistently greets clients with warmth and positivity, creating a welcoming environment for both pets and their owners. She is a valued colleague whose enthusiasm and cheerful spirit brighten our workplace.

Carlee’s favorite part of working at LAH is the deep sense of family she feels—not just with the staff, but also with the clients and their pets. She considers it an incredible honor to share in life’s most meaningful moments, from the joy of welcoming a new furry family member to the heartache of saying goodbye—and everything in between.

In her free time, Carlee spends time with her daughters and grandchildren, enjoys riding her motorcycle and has a special fondness for the color turquoise.

Tonight we celebrated the well-earned retirement of Robyn Hargewood. It is a bittersweet moment as we say goodbye to a colleague and a friend whose contributions over the last 11 years have left an indelible mark on our veterinary clinic. Robyn's generosity of spirit, willingness to lend a helping hand, and ability to make even the most difficult days brighter have made her more than just a colleague—she is a part of our family. We hope this next phase brings Robyn endless joy, good health, and cherished moments with loved ones.

Thankful for the work of these rescues! They save so many lives! ❤️ If anyone would be interested in donating to the rescues we assist please consider My Father’s Business. They rescue many older pets from shelters that would otherwise be euthanized. formidable travail de notre partenaire Rescue my father's business de l autre côté de l Atlantique 💪
Petite frannie vient de Géorgie à été abandonnée en fourrière suite à une fracture de l humerus. Afin de lui éviter le pire notre Rescue l a sorti de fourrière et a pris en charge son opération orthopédique compliquée avec l assistance du formidable Dr Wright et son équipe ! Frannie à passé 3 mois en réhabilitation et sa maman pour la vie Chantal l attend demain à sa sortie du vétérinaire à Saint maur 🎉 c est cela que illustre "saving à Dog will not change the world but for that dog you are the world" un grand bravo à nos partenaires aux USA ❤️
