Welcome Maeby 🩷
Our resident mini, Ruby, surprised us March 6th with a big (35lb!) beautiful filly! We had her preg checked back in November and all the results were inconclusive! Everyone said oh she’s just spending too much time at the alfalfa block! She started bagging up 10 days before hand, and foaled out in the early morning around 3am during a thunderstorm. It’s been a whirlwind of last minute “mini-baby proofing” the farm over the past few days, but she is 1 week old tomorrow, and feeling spicy!
We had different plans for foaling season this spring, and a mini was not on the list! But such is life and we’re so grateful that both mama and baby are happy and healthy 🙏🏼

Welsh/Warmblood, 4yr old, large pony mare, by Coldplay out of Dream On by Cunningham

The sweetest, softest, most docile little filly I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. I absolutely adore her, and we plan to keep her forever! I’ll be the first to admit I was never a mare fan, and was a diehard gelding girl, but she completely changed my perspective and I couldn’t imagine a day without one!

A very long overdue introduction to our resident mini pony, Ruby ❤️
She also goes by Rubes, Luby-Lu, Ruben, Suzan, Houdini Red, and lil’ b*tch! 😂
We got her as a companion to the ponies here at home, and boy oh boy does she embody every bad habit of your typical crazy chestnut mare! I love her! And I hate her sometimes too! But it’s mutual. She is the boss mare, all 300lbs and 30 inches of her! 🥰
