Litchfield Veterinary Hospital is located in the beautiful historic town of Litchfield in Northwestern, CT. Our mission is to practice the highest quality medicine and surgery with compassion and an emphasis on client education. Our entire health care team is committed to providing personal attention to each pet and the concerns of each individual pet owner. We understand the special role your pet

plays in your family and are dedicated to being a partner in your pet's health care. We understand that in order to provide your pet with the medical care they need, we must not only provide excellent medical services and have the most capable staff possible, but we also must take time and care to provide the owner who brings in these pets with thoughtful and respectful client service. We are always willing to take the time needed to explain your pet's condition and discuss options for the best care of your pet. At Litchfield Veterinary Hospital, our veterinarians have a special interest in dermatology, oncology, endocrinology, internal medicine and surgery. We have a state of the art facility with new digital dental radiograph equipment and a new ultrasound unit. Today is a very special day! Dr Ammirata has been with Litchfield Veterinary Hospital for 10 years today! We all have been blessed with her passion and care for all of our clients these last 10 years and are grateful to have her as part of the team. Dr Ammirata started here as a new graduate and learned and grew as a veterinarian along the way. She then became a mentor to the newer veterinarians that joined our team along the way.
