Meet Spice Girl — 13 yr old chestnut overo Paint mare · 14.2ish

We’re thrilled to share that Elizabeth (Liz) Alfiero has joined Upper Pond Stables as our Barn Manager! Liz brings over 30 years of experience along with 20 years as a veterinary technician, giving her a well-rounded background in both horse care and rider development.

Liz will be teaching lessons and working in training — and together with Naomi Rowe, our newest lesson instructor, they’re excited to support both riders and horses here at Upper Pond.

✨ To celebrate, we’d love to invite all boarders and lesson families to a Meet & Greet at the barn on Saturday, September 27th from 10 AM – 2 PM.
This will be a great chance to stop by, introduce yourselves, chat with Liz and Naomi, and share your goals for the upcoming season.
