Voyager Kennels We began our training and hunt test journey in 2020 with Argo. Then added Virgie in 2022. We mainly compete in HRC hunt tests and some AKC hunt tests.

This was Ronnie's run from our training session today. It was his first time with a live flyer and Luke was having a bad day so it was a cripple. Ron dog was on the bird hard then when it came at him he was like thats never happened before. But I just said "fetch" and he got it.

Im so thankful for all the amazing people i have met in the dog world. We are very grateful to our buddy Rich from Prairie Dancer Retrievers LLC for his hospitality the last few days. Hopefully this winter we can make a trip down to Alabama to do some training with him.

The yellows and I drove 600 miles to run Land of Lakes HRC hunt test. We had a great weekend! They went 5 for 6 and Ronnie earned his HR title! Now we are headed to see Ronnies brother. Then up to Bemidji to train with our buddy Rich for a few days. Thanks to all of our Judges, bird techs, and the club for putting on such a fun event!

Having both male and female dogs in the same home sure makes heat a fun time.... the only thing Virgie wants to do is cuddle and be a lap dog. Argo looses his mind a rarely eats. I have to add soft food or chicken soup to get him to eat anything. Ronnie it doesn't seem to bother much. He just can't sit still until I shower and through my cloths in the wash that smell like her.

After having Ronnie around for the last 15 months I have decided to repeat the Argo x Virgie breeding in the spring. Ronnie has been such a joy to train. He's a very fast learner, has all the drive and desire you could ask for, can shut it off when we are in the house, and has all the looks I am after.

Happy father's day! I took the dogs up to my parents to hang out with my dad for a couple hours. I caught Ronnie posing in the living room. In about 3 months this will be his new home. I am glad he is so comfortable up there.
