Bean & his brother Queso are at 82/85 days of FIP treatment! What does this mean?
We have a vet visit scheduled next week and they will assess their health and next steps.
Bean has been doing great. He still has a big belly, but we are hopeful he is just… chunky 😆 He loves to eat and he has always been a little round. There is a chance it’s fluid, so they will be looking into that at the visit.
If it’s determined they don’t have to do more days of treatment, they will enter an observation period. We would love to start finding these boys their forever family together. ❤️ If adopted in this period, potential owners would just need to be in close contact with us and a vet to monitor them. We may also decide it’s best they stay with us until they’re fully cleared, it really depends on their individual situation, our vet’s opinion, and the adopter.
