Volunteer appreciation day at Stone Gate Farm yesterday was great!

It was nice to have a different type of family day. Not often do we all ride in the same day, so it was a nice change of pace. Dinner was delicious, the kids had fun carving pumpkins and the cake was amazing! I was gifted a cooler for one of the horses 💗

We got home before dark and right before the rain. Richie (the youngest) fell asleep in the RTV while we were doing night feed, so he got a ride from Rich to the house while we finished up 💜

Jaws is an athletic, intelligent, and talented thoroughbred who has competed through Starter level eventing.

He is best suited for an intermediate rider who is confident, aware of their aids, and understands how to apply them correctly. Jaws is smart and athletic, and he thrives with a rider who communicates clearly and consistently.

Today was decompression day after yesterday’s madness! We rode at the Stone Gate Farm hunter pace and Orion and Martini had a blast! We tried new things, laughed way too hard and let loose.

Both boys handled everything in stride and were what we call “full send” energy, which we embraced!

Dakota paired up with Laura and they had what seemed like an excellent ride!!! Now if we can just get Echo to back off of the trailer 😅

The goal of today was to NOT let the “kid” team pass us, and our goal was achieved! 🤣

What a GREAT ride!!!! Thanks Jackie for continuing to host these events for all of us to enjoy💜 your farm is a sanctuary for many, and we’re all thankful to be there.

I’m so proud of these riders for showing up yesterday at Stone Gate Farm jumper show.. despite nerves, cool weather, fresh ponies and the courses they showed up, pushed through and had excellent rounds. All of the matchy matchy outfits were on point 🥰

I’m also so proud of my families. For pitching in, helping each other out, supporting other peoples kids like they’re their own, and tack changes on the fly. Thank you. 🫶🏻

But more so than anything, I’m so dang proud of these horses. All of this wouldn’t exist without them and I know that my riders are just as grateful for them. I’m constantly humbled by these creatures and all of the credit goes to them and what they bring to these riders. Confidence, bravery, and a whole lot of love. They really are million dollar ponies 💜
