We are a small ranch that breeds, shows, and sells miniature horses. We specialize in performance: jumper, driving, halter obstacle, and liberty. We also love taking our horses to community and church events to share with others.

I am sad to report the passing today of our beloved horse, Larry. His registered name was Wizards Spell Troubles Exemplary. He was known world wide as "The Little Horse That Can Jump". He only stood 30 inches tall - yet he cleared 44 inch jumps multiple times during his career. Some of his YouTube videos had over 1 million views. He won the AMHA World Championship in Jumper 9 times, and took the Reserve 5 times.

After Larry won his first world championship we changed our ranch logo to a picture of him taking off for a jump.

He LOVED to jump. And although he was a stallion, he was gentle enough that he was often shown by children. He had a big heart and was always willing to do his best.

Larry died peacefully in Carla's arms while I was petting him. He was 24 years old. He leaves 3 daughters on our show team and 2 sons as therapy horses.

Sunset Mountain Mayflowered Mist (Misty) is a solid bay filly born 5/7/25. She should mature at around 36 inches tall and will be AMHR registered.

She is born from championship blood lines with her grandsire (SMHC's Lots A Dots 290555B) having won multiple driving championships in both AMHR and Shetland. Her sire is Sunset Mountain Dots Legacy (340807B), another black and white pinto.We have 3 other horses from the same bloodline that have also won multiple national driving championships. Her dam (24/7 Sin City 331902B) is a beautiful solid black mare.

"Misty" has a great conformation, well suited to Halter. She is also already showing a great trot. She is incredibly sweet and will follow you around and practically crawl in your lap.

He is born from championship blood lines with his grandsire (SMHC's Lots A Dots 290555B) having won multiple driving championships in both AMHR and Shetland. His sire is Sunset Mountain Dots Legacy (340807B), another black and white pinto. We have 3 other horses from the same bloodline that have also won multiple national AMHR championships. His dam (Fancy Schmancy of Lilac Lane (311569B)) has also won multiple AMHR championships in Halter classes. "Run Run" has a great conformation, well suited to Halter, and is already showing a great trot.

Sunset Mountain Mayflowered Mist is a solid bay filly born 5/7/25. She should mature at around 36 inches tall and will be AMHR registered.

She is born from championship blood lines with her grandsire having won multiple driving championships in both AMHR and Shetland. We have 3 other horses from the same bloodline that have also won multiple national championships. Her sire is a black and white stallion and her dam is solid black. But she is a beautiful bay.

"Misty" has a great conformation, well suited to Halter. She is also already showing a great trot. She is incredibly sweet and will follow you around and practically crawl in your lap to get horse treats.

I had a great time at AMHA World this year. Our horse "Lady" won Youth Jumper with Faith Bowen. And then won the Reserve World Championship with Lakyn McDaniel in Open Jumper.

Our horse "Sunshine" won two 4th place ribbons in the two Youth Hunter classes with Faith and Lakyn.

This was only the 2nd show I drove my new AMHA pair (2-horse team) in. They made a lot of mistakes. But finally in Draft they gave me a perfect drive. Too bad there was no one competing against me in Draft :) . I expect them to get a lot better next year.

We are at the AMHA World Championship in Fort Worth this week. I am extremely proud of Faith Bowen and Lakyn McDaniel who were showing our horses yesterday. Both girls won several top 10 ribbons. Faith won the AMHA Youth Jumper Championship with Sunset Mountain Lucky Lady Baccarra. This is the first time we have won AMHA Jumper in 8 years. "Lady" also won AMHR Youth Jumper this year. And that is the first time we have had the same horse win both Championships. In fact I don't know - it may be the first time ever the same horse has won the AMHA and AMHR Youth Jumper Championship.

I will see if I can get better pictures later of both Faith and Lakyn.

Later today I will be driving in Carriage Working, class 87 with our new AMHA 2-horse team.

We are having a great show. Not all of these ribbons are mine. Tan Touchet won several - including the red Reserve National Champion ribbon in Halter Obstacle. One of the blue National Championship ribbons was won by Faith Bowen with Sunset Mountain Lucky Lady Baccarra in Youth Jumper. And some of the blue ribbons are from me being the only one in a class. But if I'm the only one crazy enough to drive 4 horses (especially in Roman Chariot) I will happily take the ribbon.

Tomorrow we have only 2 classes. One is the chariot race. The other is Sunday in the Park where Carla decorates the carriage with flowers.
