Some days, being a farrier feels just like that.
Maybe it’s the horse with “opinions,” the weather that won’t cooperate, or the back that’s one bad bend away from retirement 😅 — but we show up, saddle up (or crawl under), and get the job done.

Farriery isn’t just a trade — it’s a test of patience, toughness, and knowing when to talk to the horse like it understands English (because let’s be honest, it might).

Here’s to the long days, the heavy shoes, and the horses that keep us humble.
