A dog escaped the car and is lost near 66/55.

UPDATE: REUNITED!! Peaches is home safe & sound after 23 hours, 18 minutes :)

Message from Owner: Please help us find Peaches! My sister was driving to Fairfax VA when her car slid off the road and flipped. Peaches ran away and was sighted near Apple hse and Dismal Rd. She does not have a collar or harness on. She is likely scared and unapproachable unless you have food! Please help find her!!

Description: Peaches is a small beagle mix. My sister flipped her car on 66 around 1:3 pm today and Peaches ran off. She slipped out of her harness and does not have on a collar. Please call me or text if you’ve seen her.

🚨🚨Linden neighbors, be aware. 🚨🚨

Fauquier Co. Is currently looking for a missing person in the neighborhood of the AT trail head on Rt. 55 and surrounding areas.

There is currently a police presence in the area of Tucker Lane and Walker Ridge Drive actively searching for missing person Paula Jean LeBlonde.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 540-347-3300.

Reminder, the gravel section of the road is under construction today and will be closed 7am-4pm (per their sign). If you would normally come via the gravel stretch of the road off rt. 55 in Linden, you will need to redirect and come over Chester Gap (rt. 522) to Hume Road or Leeds Manor Road off rt. 55 to Hume Road.

⚠️ heads up, the state is here on Fiery Run Road and will be replacing culverts 10/4 -10/19 ⚠️
Our narrow dirt 1.5 lane road is expected to have delays. Since they could be pretty extended, feel free to PM or call us before you venture this way so we can confirm which route might be best.

Reminder Fiery Run is accessible via 55 in Linden (old Post Office location) and 522 by way of the Hume Road.

The Fauquier County Sheriff's Office is NOW ACTIVELY searching for Kevin Gerard Doyle, 68 years old, whose disappearance and cognitive impairment may place him in danger. He was last seen 9/27/23 at 12PM on Stewart Rd. in Sumerduck. Doyle is 6'3 in height and weighs 184 lbs. He has blue eyes and gray hair. He may be wearing a purple shirt with blue jeans. He may be wearing multiple necklaces and eyeglasses. Anyone with information please call 911 of the Fauquier County Sheriff's Office at 540-347-3300.
