Unfortunately this holiday is a peak time for lost dogs, many run away due to fear of fireworks. 😕Thats why we recommend microchipping your pet! Dogs are 2x more likely to be returned to their owner when microchipped. While that is a great statistic, you have to be sure to register your microchip for it to be effective!
Found a possibly stray? Bring them by the clinic to get scanned and see if they have a Microchip!

1) Higher Return Rates: Microchipped dogs are over twice as likely to be returned to their owners, and microchipped cats are over 20 times more likely to make it back home safely.
2) Permanent ID: Unlike a traditional collar or ID tag, a microchip cannot be easily lost, removed, or worn down over time.
3) Proof of Ownership: If there is ever a dispute over who a pet belongs to, a registered microchip acts as official documentation.
