Maybe you aren’t getting what you’ve been praying for because it’s not meant for you.
Maybe it’s because you’re not ready for it yet.
Sometimes we mistake God’s “not yet” for a “no.” We wonder why the opportunity hasn’t come, why the dream hasn’t happened, why the door hasn’t opened, why we aren’t where we thought we’d be by now.
But what if God isn’t withholding it from you… what if He’s preparing you for it?
There are things you’re asking for that require a stronger, wiser, more disciplined version of you. There are blessings that come with responsibilities you may not yet be equipped to carry. There are doors that would overwhelm you if they opened before you were ready.
So maybe this season isn’t about chasing the thing you want.
Maybe it’s about becoming the person who can handle it when God finally gives it to you.
Let Him shape you. Let Him grow you. Let Him teach you. Let Him work on the parts of you that you’d rather skip over.
You’re not behind. You’re not forgotten. You’re not failing.
Maybe God is simply saying, “Not yet. I’m still preparing you.”
And when the time comes, you’ll realize the waiting was part of the preparation. 🤍
