Is your pet acting differently? It might not be "bad behavior"—it could be pain. 🐾

Our pets can’t tell us when they hurt, so they show us through their actions. A sudden change in their normal routine or personality is often their only way of crying for help. 🐶🐱

Look out for these subtle warning signs:
👉 Hiding or avoiding family interaction.
👉 Aggression when touched or approached.
👉 Changes in sleeping or eating habits.
👉 Reluctance to jump, climb, or play.
👉 Excessive grooming or licking one spot.

☀️ Beat the Heat: Keep Your Pets Cool & Safe! ☀️

As the weather warms up, it’s important to remember that our pets feel the heat even more than we do! Heatstroke can happen quickly and is a serious medical emergency.

Keep your furry friends cool with these 4 tips:
💧 Stay Hydrated: Always provide plenty of fresh, cool water.
🌳 Monitor Temperature: Limit outdoor time to the cooler parts of the day (early morning or late evening).
🐾 Watch the Pavement: If the pavement is too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws!
🚗 Never Leave Pets in Cars: Even with the windows cracked, temperatures can reach dangerous levels in minutes.

Know the signs of overheating: excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, or vomiting.

We’ve seen an uptick in Giardia cases, especially in dogs who frequent parks, daycare, or shared outdoor spaces.

Giardia is a common intestinal parasite that can cause tummy troubles like diarrhea, weight loss, and decreased appetite—but the good news is it’s easy to test and treat when caught early.
