Valley Ridge - Lessons With Skye Hello, I'm Skye! I am the lead trainer for Valley Ridge. I give lessons and train on-site horses! I am located in Lincoln NE.

No lessons June 10th, June 27th, July 4, July 6, July 9-15.

June 10, I will be working a 12 hour day in Roca.

June 27, I have multiple meetings that I must attend. Can do lessons June 28th

July 4th, come see Bentley and I at the Seward or Hickman Parade (will have the town chosen soon). We will be representing Roca Scary Farm where I am a manager at the haunted Manor. Can do lessons July 5

July 6, I have an evening meeting.

July 9-15, I will be in Kentucky! My childhood dream is coming true of going to Breyerfest!!!

Riding lessons are for ages 6 years old and up, including adults. Lessons are $65 or you can purchase 4 lessons for $250 (thats a $10 savings). I still have lesson times available Monday through Thursday!

This illustration is a great visual to horseback riding. You never stop learning. Do not ever be discouraged! Bad days and mistakes happen! I have bad days riding and I make mistakes and I have been in the saddle for 26 years. Horses have bad days and make mistakes too. We are learning and progressing at our own pace. Just because something doesn't click right now, doesn't mean it never will. Practice makes improvement.

I am sorry that this is so last minute, but NO lessons Saturday May 30th! I am happy to open Sunday May 31st and move lessons over.

Valor is up for a half on site lease. Experienced riders only. Half lease is $250/month. Valor is 5 years old, a stallion (until this fall), and still learning. He needs a confident rider who is not afraid of a temper tantrum (tossing his head). Please keep in mind that his training has not been consistent due to a cancer treatment thrown into the mix of his young life. This treatment has worked and we do not see it returning. That said, he has a good stop, rides both directions at a w/j/l, picks up his leads, very good ground manners, soft on ques, stands ties, leads, loads, hauls, picks up feet, and he likes kids.

I will be picky on who leases him. This horse means a lot to me. If you are interested, please message me. I will ask about your riding experience to ensure a good fit for both horse and rider.

After a not very good interaction today, Kat is not going to be joining our lesson program. She will end up finding a new home that will be a better fit for her. We wish the best for Kat when she finds her new home.
