Hi friends!! Sorry we've been MIA, it's been crazy around here! Max and I got new car seats cuz we were supposed to go on a big road trip with Mama and Aunt Janna to Texas, to see Aunt Joan and the floofy cousin ‼️‼️‼️ but grandma ended up in the hospital so Mama and Aunt Janna canceled the trip. 🙁 Max did get to give his car seat a test run... To the V-E-T. 😂🤦 He's improving, but still needs to be on restriction for a while longer. Tiny human nephew #2 went along to snoopervise, but he still has a lot to learn from THN #1 about proper dog snoopervision, BOL
P. S. Grandma is home from the hospital now and doing good!

You guys are not going to believe this nonsense... Yesterday Mama scooped me up in her arms, threw me in the van, and hauled me off to the V-E-T!! 😱 ME!! Not the jailbird with the bad back and a list of medications that would make an 80 year old jealous... ME!! Sweet, innocent, healthy little me!! She blabbered some nonsense about keeping me healthy, blah blah blah. I don't remember what she said cuz I think I dramatically blacked out when they stole my toenails and blood, and jabbed me with needles. The nice V-E-T lady and Max's buddy Garrett tried to bribe me with treats, but excuse me, NO. My affections could NOT be bought!! I will, however, be accepting apology bacon from Mama today!! 🥓🥓

Hi friends!! Today was a super busy day! Max had a follow-up appointment and acupuncture at the V-E-T, and got a good report. His back legs are still weak, but he is getting better. The V-E-T thinks it is most likely a pinched nerve. He will continue on the meds and crate rest until his appointment next week, but he was allowed out this afternoon on a leash for good behavior. We snoopervised Mama making another big batch of our homemade dog food, the free samples were super yummy!
(Max's best V-E-T friends Garret and Jen made sure to give him lots of love, as always! ❤️)

This is what Max thinks of his crate rest... 😂

He is doing great, seems to have no pain but his back legs are still very wonky. He has a follow up with the V-E-T tomorrow, so we'll let you guys know the pupdate after that!

Today Mama needed bi-level sewing snoopervising!! We have to keep an eye on her at all times. 🤦 (Max is still on crate rest, but obviously he's working the system here... 🙄🤦😂)

Last night's snuggle session on the couch... 😂 Now I don't usually snuggle with my stinky brother, but I feel bad for him since he's on crate rest, so I thought I'd give him some extra attention while he was out on good behavior. 😜

Today was mac and cheese day for the tiny human nephews, and of course us doggies could not be left out, even with one of us in a cage! Mama sure is catering to the jailbird. 😂😍
