In September of 2025 we reintroduced our organization and introduced 4 legacies in which we would work in honor of.

Today, we are coming to our followers with a heart breaking reality.

Altheo at just 8 weeks old has now officially lost both of his eyes.

Our dedication through Sister’s legacy is we wouldn’t turn away end of life or major medical and we stand true to that. However, we need support as we help Altheo learn to navigate his new normal.

We are desperate to clear his vet bill, which allows Joshua and I to focus our time and energy on care and teaching Altheo the basics all over again but with his new disability.

Our Venmo is in the photos. As well as Sisters legacy, the dog who created our hearts cause to create it and then our sweet broken little Altheo. ❤️‍🩹😭

Everybody: Meet ALTHEO!!!

This tough, scrappy little guy with A WILL TO LIVE has been fighting non-stop.

He's had less than 5-6 weeks of vision in his short life. Guessed to be about 8 weeks old, he obtained an eye sickness that turned into an infection; that never got treated. By the time he was found, one eye was completely gone.

At barely eight weeks old, emaciated, tiny, blind; he's suffered. But he's also persevered. He's pushed thru. He's fought! And he's still fighting!! He's made it thru several nights now AND an eye removal surgery.

As long as he's willing to fight, we'll fight for him right beside him.

Thank you to our donors so far for helping us to help him fight! We’ve raised $50 out of $800. Still more work to do!

****SECOND UPDATE: Little trooper pulled thru the night and made it thru surgery for a single enucleation this morning!

**Update: Kitten is looking at confirmed enucleation of one eye. Double enucleation is still possible.

Hi Friends!

This poor little thing was found on the side of the highway at North St. and 18.
This was the only one found, and as you can imagine, probably had no idea where it was or where it was going.

These are the unfortunate consequences of rampant, uncontrolled breeding. I know we've talked about them before, but seeing it first hand is often different.
😿 Feral cats and kittens born and living in the wild often face circumstances like this. Animal attacks, vehicles, general illness, tick born diseases such as Bobcat Fever (which is often more than not fatal), etc. 😿

Where this probably started out as something that could be treated relatively easily, this poor kitten is now looking at having to have one or both eyes removed.

🫶It's always a big ask and hard to do, but we need help covering this poor kittens medical costs. We appreciate everyone for all they do to support us in our efforts to help animals in need. Thank you!! 😻🙌🫶💔💔

💜Lifesaving transportation Saturday💜

Yes, I double checked, we didn’t need a special license to transport this polar bear…🐻‍❄️

Mijo is a special boy for sure! Not only is he larger than life but so is his love for people! We are so excited to stay updated on his journey into rescue and watch him find his forever people!
