I want to make a statement here that, to me, seems like it should be obvious but…I’m going to make it anyway.
Declawing a cat is WRONG. It should be illegal.

AND…declawing a cat because you don’t want to “ruin” your expensive, leather furniture means that you are a person that cares more about material things than your cat.

I’m talking about people declawing their cats NOW. With everything out there about how bad declawing is, there are no longer any excuses for anyone.

Bluey!! Just home from getting his lion clip. And this is SUPER RARE! One blue eye is not too common (whites & these days some bicolors will get them) but a blue eye on a brown tabby? No. First time I’ve ever seen it. He’s a special boy! ☺️🐾☺️🐾

What’s missing here? Pinnas! Meet Vincent. His pinnas & tail were severely damaged by frostbite while he was living on the streets. He has ears, he is just missing his pinnas! And part of his tail. He is definitely a survivor. And has found his forever home.

This build up happened because kitty had a very bad case of mites. Usually it is more crumbly, like coffee grounds.
This is from a while back. Kitty is fine now, treatment was simple and ears are back to normal.

Today, for the first time in his 16 years, Ben was awake for his lion clip. In the past he has been anesthetized at a veterinary clinic. He did have some gabapentin prior to coming in, just to take the edge off but, frankly, not even sure that was needed — he did great!
