We are looking for a veterinarian that values connection, communication, and education and is looking to work 30-40 hours per week. Be careful with this heat!

Heat Alert ☀️ We’re in for several days of very hot weather. Pets can suffer from heat-related illness too. Keep them safe in extreme heat:

💧 Always provide fresh water and shade if pets spend their days outside.
🏠 Keep pets at home on hot days. If you must take them with you, never leave them in the car.
✔️ Check on pets frequently or bring them indoors if possible.
🐾 Protect paws from hot pavement

If you see a pet in a hot car or outside without shade or water for an extended period of time, call Animal Control at 402-441-7900.

Fireworks and festivities can be fun for people but problematic for pets. Tips to help keep pets safe through the Fourth of July weekend:

- Don’t leave pets outside unattended.
- Keep them indoors and away from fireworks.
- Create a quiet space inside your home.
- Make sure pets have current ID tags.
