Harnessing the power of dedicated staff members, an army of volunteers, and a professional Board of Directors, we support the health and safety of the animals of Lincoln, California and the people who love them. Our programs, such as 2nd Chance Ranch, Spay/Neuter Assistance (SNAP), the cutting edge Community/Cat Assistance Team (CAT), and veterinary clinic, truly make a difference. We proudly offer cats and kittens for adoption at our shelter, PetSmart in Lincoln, and FieldHaven Marketplace retail/thrift center. 🧡 Stop scrolling cat lovers! An Orange GIRL is looking for her person! 😻

Yes, you read that right! Tumbleweed is a 4-month-old female orange tabby, and if you know cats, you know orange GIRLS are a rare find! 🧡✨

This little cutie is one of the more than 20 kittens we're bringing to Roseville TODAY for our big adoption event at Pet Food Express. And trust us, Tumbleweed is ready to roll right into somebody’s heart!

🌪️ Playful? Absolutely. Affectionate? You bet. Full of personality? Oh, yes!

Tumbleweed loves exploring her surroundings, having fun, and showing off her playful side. But when the adventure winds down, this sweet girl is ready for love, attention, and cuddles with her very own family.

She’s also good with other cats and dogs, big and small, so she could fit right into a home with furry siblings!

Tumbleweed came from a colony of cats living at a vacant house near the highway, where kittens faced a tough start and an unsafe environment. Now she has a chance at a much brighter future, and we’d love to see her find a loving home of her own. ❤️

😻 20+ KITTENS. Who’s ready to fall in love?

Today’s the day! 🎉 We're bringing more than 20 kittens to Pet Food Express TODAY! Could your new BFF be waiting?!

And we have a special trio you’ll want to meet: the 90210 gang! 📺🐾

Meet Brenda, Brandon, and Dylan, three adorable tabbies with enough personality to star in their own series.

💕 Brenda is a young mama who’s ready for her own fresh start. At just 9 months old, she’s raised her babies and is ready to enjoy being young again! Give her some pets and a little wet food, and that purr motor will get going. She’s ready to be someone’s leading lady!

😎 Brandon is the handsome, slightly shy heartthrob of the group. He might take a moment to warm up, but give him a little patience and he’ll reward you with sweetness, affection, and maybe even a cozy lap nap.

🖤 Dylan is the outgoing charmer who knows how to make an entrance. Adventurous, playful, and a total social butterfly, he loves attention and cuddles just as much as he loves a good play session.

Three tabbies. Three different personalities. One very good reason to come meet them today! ❤️

FIRST... how stunning is Mr. Meow Meow?! ❤️🐾

At 15 years old, Mr. Meow Meow has earned his senior-cat privileges: sunny naps, birdwatching from the window, occasional zoomies, and a human who understands that affection happens on his terms. ☀️🐈‍⬛

This handsome gray-and-black gentleman loves people and greets his family when they come home. He enjoys cheek rubs, sitting beside you on the couch, and playing with toys when he’s in the mood. He’s happiest indoors, where he can enjoy the quiet life he knows and loves.

Mr. Meow Meow needs a special home that can give him the time, patience, and attention he deserves. He has hyperthyroidism and early kidney disease, and he needs medication twice a day. He can be tricky about taking his pills, so an adopter comfortable managing his medication will be important.

A quiet home without dogs would be ideal. He hasn’t lived with other animals and may feel most comfortable as your one-and-only. He’s litter-box trained and up to date on his vaccinations.

His family has a young baby, busy work schedules, and growing challenges managing his care. They’re hoping to find him a better fit where his needs can receive the attention they deserve. This is a difficult decision after more than 15 years together, and we hope the right person is out there for this sweet senior.

THE LOOKS ON THESE FACES! 😈🐾 Foster needed!

Meet Farquad (the little Siamese), Sara (the brown tabby), and Dapper (the black-and-white cutie). These three tiny monsters were left in a carrier at our gate, and now they’re looking for someone to help them turn their spicy little attitudes into loving, friendly kitten energy. 😂

Here’s the thing: they’re SO close to being friendly! They’re already good cuddle bugs, but they’re also bitey little demons who need help figuring out that humans are friends, not chew toys. 😂

That’s where YOU come in! ❤️

These three need a socializing foster who can give them a safe, cozy space and lots of positive interactions. Think playtime, tasty treats, gentle voices, and letting them build trust at their own pace. No forcing cuddles—just helping them discover that people are pretty great.

The more positive experiences kittens have with humans while they’re young, the better their chances of growing into confident, social companions. And these little weirdos are SO worth it.

Meet Buster, a 12-year-old senior boy who was abandoned in a neighborhood and has been getting by mostly on the kindness of people nearby.

One of those neighbors, Sumana, got to know him over the past couple of years and fell in love with this sweet, trusting boy. She’s been making sure he gets food and veterinary care, including his vaccines, but Buster really needs something more: a home of his own.

He’s friendly, gentle, and affectionate once he gets to know you. He’ll brush against your legs, happily accept pets, sit on your lap, and even lets you pick him up. He’s also a good litter-box user.

Buster has hyperthyroidism and needs regular medication, but that doesn’t stop him from being the wonderful cat he is. What he really needs is an indoor retirement home where he can finally be safe, comfortable, and loved.

After spending so much of his life fending for himself, Buster deserves to spend his senior years knowing he belongs somewhere. ❤️

Meet Girl! 🤍

This pretty 1½-year-old girl is looking for a new home—and she’d really love to keep being the indoor kitty she’s always been.

Girl has been with her family since she was just 8 weeks old. She’s described as a sweet, calm, people-loving girl who enjoys being around kids and does well with dogs, too. She even has a playful side when the zoomies hit! 😹

She’s spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, litter-box perfect, and ready to find a new family who will love her as much as her current family does.

Her family is moving in with relatives who are allergic to cats and, unfortunately, they’re unable to take Girl with them. They’re hoping to find her a loving home ASAP and would really like to avoid her having to enter a shelter.
