Hi Folks, it has been awhile. We have been busy! Just a quick post to let you know we installed air conditioning in our kennel. On a 112 degree day, we can keep the building at approximately 79 degrees. We had rolling coolers before, but this is really great. Anyone want to buy our evaporative coolers? LOL.

We recently hosted Little Beauty, who appreciated the daily walks during her family's leisure time in Hawaii. She's a beauty.

Whiskey has some pearly whites and a sparkling personality to boot. We are getting our daily "shot" of this sweet boy.

Wouldn't it be nice to not worry about fleas and ticks on your pet for a whole year? This injectable drug has just been approved by the FDA . We plan on speaking to our veterinarian about the ins and outs very soon. https://www.fda.gov/animal-veterinary/cvm-updates/fda-approves-first-long-acting-flea-and-tick-treatment-dogs #:~:text=Today%20the%20U.S.%20Food%20and,for%208%20to%2012%20months.

Today the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved Bravecto Quantum (fluralaner for extended-release injectable suspension), for use in dogs and puppies 6 months of age and older.

Gin is set for her close-up! She had breakfast on her chin, so we had to give her a quick clean-up first.

Worried about your dog during fireworks? We’re here to help.
If your pup is frightened by fireworks, we offer a safe space for them this Fourth of July—even if it’s just for one night. We understand how overwhelming fireworks can be, and unfortunately, shelters often fill up with lost pets after the holiday. Many dogs panic, escape their yards, and may even injure themselves trying to flee the noise.
We encourage you to speak with your veterinarian about the best way to support your pet during this time. And if a peaceful stay with us can help ease their anxiety, we’d love to welcome them.
Give us a call at 916.991.3007 or email [email protected] to learn more or reserve a spot.
Let’s make this holiday safe and stress-free—for you and your furry family.

Tallulah Blue has joined us for puppy gun dog training. Earl is planning on introducing a bird to her today. We will see if she is ready for some action. She is a sharp cookie and quite a dynamo. She is also a soprano with her 5-octave, high-pitched bark LOL.
