Breeder friends, my recent litter produced a phantom baby! Her maternal grandmother (standard poodle) and mother (Cockapoo) are pictured below.
Both carry fading gene.
And I feel this baby does too.

Question 1.. when she fades, will her phantom markings be visible?
Question 2... this baby has a strong red undertone to her brown. Almost like a redwood or burgundy color.
So... what color best describes her?
Is she chocolate phantom?

The families that have homed these pups are absolutely perfect.
"Dog Gone" days are always emotional, but handing over pups to loving families makes it so much easier!

Oh the hours of work that goes in to raising these sweet nuggets. Up at 5am to potty & play. Prepare 9 individual mini food bowls with kibble soaked in warm weaning milk. They are fully aware of our schedule, so smart!
They are great eaters.. usually followed by đź’©, Play, nap, repeat x4.
At bedtime, I am so very ready for rest.
Definitely a labor of love ❤️.
