Well, this is a hard post to write.
Sunshine Dog Spa is no longer at 2019 P street as of September 1st, 2026.
There is currently not a new location, so grooming at the spa is on pause.
There has been a perfect storm of events to get here. Starting with Meagan breaking her ankle while she was 35 week pregnant, then having a difficult surgery, birth, and recovery with her son. Don't worry, both are healthy and happy now!! :) It just took longer to get here than expected.
However, once Meagan returned to the spa after her seriously extended maternity leave, she was informed that the co-business in the building at 2019 P street needed to relocate, which meant that her little spa also needed to leave (it was in a sublease agreement).
Finding a new location while her family is just coming out of the fog that has been the last 9 (holy moly!) months was unattainable in the amount of time needed, so as of now grooming at Sunshine Dog Spa is on pause.
Thank you could be typed a hundred times and it would not adequately express the gratitude from the bottom of our hearts towards the clients of Sunshine Dog Spa. While at the end of the day it is a business, Meagan always views her clients as her personal friends and spa family. She has shed many tears knowing she is missing out of the ins and outs of your daily life, major milestones, and all the cuddles, giggles, and growth and experiences.
That is why this is a pause instead of a goodbye.
In the meantime, Meagan is soaking up every minute of being a new mom to her son.
Sending out so much love, and hopefully see you sooner rather than later!!
