Alright everyone, here is the updated pricing! This post will be a bit lengthy, so just make sure you read it!

As much as I hate to do it, I do need to raise my pricing. Unfortunately, with the pricing that I had prior, I wasn’t bringing in a profit to make any kind of savings whatsoever.

As a reminder, dog groomers, do not get paid time off, sick time, insurance, or retirement. I need to make sure that I’m bringing enough money, not only to cover the cost of my grooming, equipment, and supplies, but enough to keep up with the cost of living as well.

Going forward, I will be charging if your pet is matted or has fleas automatically. It is not my responsibility to make sure your pet is on a flea and tick medication. I understand that a lot of people do not like to use flea preventatives. However, I am working inside of my own home with my own pets. Not to mention I have pets coming in on a daily basis that I’m working on. I cannot risk fleas being spread.

It is also not my responsibility to make sure that you’re maintaining your pet’s coat outside of them being groomed . My biggest thing is as a woman, I have to brush my hair on a daily basis if not more than once or twice. With the dogs, they are playing, running around, being petted, or can also get wet. So why wouldn’t your pet need to be brushed daily? All of these things can cause matting if it’s not being maintained with a brush and comb. Matting typically requires a shave down. Which I would have to do before the bath. This typically results in adding wear and tear to my equipment. It is costly to get my things sharpened and to make sure they are maintained to provide a proper and safe grooming for your pet.

I am implementing a no-call, no-show charge. I am understanding when it comes to emergencies. But forgetting about your appointment when you get numerous reminders is not an excuse. This is my job that provides for my family, especially now being that I have a baby. If you do not pay your no-show fee, you will be fired as a client. While I love what I do, this is not a hobby.

I will also be implementing a 24-hour cancellation fee. The pricing will depend on the size of the dog. Filling appointments last minute can be very hard. My income is dependent on my schedule. If someone cancels last minute and I’m unable to fill it, I am out of money.

I understand that these changes may cost me in the loss of some clients. But I have to do what’s best for me and my family. I want to make sure that I can provide for my family and pay for the bills and roof over my head. I also want to make sure that I am providing top-quality services.

I love what I do and I love all of my fur clients! Unfortunately, it’s one of those things that if it doesn’t bring in enough financially, I will have to find something else later down the road. And I don’t want to do that because I know a lot of you rely on me!

As always, your business and understanding are more than appreciated. Keep an eye out for my availability! I’m waiting to see the doctor for my six week check up to figure out when I can get back to pampering your fur babies!

Hello everyone! Just dropping in to give an update!

I do not have a set date on when I will be back. With baby girl’s arrival, I had to have an emergency c-section. Usually, there is a longer recovery time. However, I’m waiting until I see the Dr. again to get a better idea of things and when I can get back to work.

I have been working on my pricing and will be posting the new pricing within the next week or so.

My schedule will not be like how it was. I will only be working a few days a week with limited hours. Mondays, I will not be available as I do not have anyone to keep an eye on baby girl while I work.

I will not be offering super early morning appointments, late appointments, or weekends. I will be working a schedule that best fits me being a new mom. I want to be able to enjoy the days while my baby is still little and navigate this new journey. I love each and every one of my clients, but this little girl has changed my world.

Please keep an eye out for any further updates. Thank you all for understanding!

My husband and I welcomed our sweet baby girl into this world August 9th weighing 5lb 11 oz. She is the biggest blessing to us. We are so in love 🥰

I wanted to share with everyone that she’s finally here 🥰

I just want to hop on here and say thank you to everyone who has supported me since I announced my pregnancy. It feels like I just found out, and now she will be here so soon! Thank you for being patient with me through the schedule changes and what I can take on. Today was my last day as I get ready for my maternity leave.

Please keep an eye out for updates. The most asked question is when will I be back. While I’m so happy you guys are already waiting for me to be back, I have no idea what this journey will bring me. I don’t know what my healing time will be like and will be experiencing a whole new journey in itself. So right now I do not have a set date. I plan to most likely come back only part-time with certain hours. But once I get things situated, you’ll see here on my page what things will look like.

As a reminder, during this time off, I will be reviewing my pricing. The costs of things are getting pretty high-range, and it’s starting to affect the profit I bring in. So please keep an eye out for updated pricing in a few weeks.

During this time, I will not be as social on my Facebook or on my business phone frequently. So please be patient. If you don’t receive a response back, I am not ignoring you. I’m starting a new journey with my husband.

I can’t wait until our sweet little girl makes her arrival. Thank you guys so much for your understanding and love. Thank you all to those who also provided gifts, diapers, wipes, and just your support overall. It means the world to me!

Good morning ☀️

I am completely booked for the appointments I have left at home before I go on maternity leave!
If you need to get your pet in for an appointment, it will have to be at the salon. I know most of you prefer the home setting and your pet being crate-free. If you set something up at the salon, I will do my best to try to work on your pet crate-free. We can discuss more if you reach out to me!

I want to thank everyone for their patience with my work schedule changing so much and working with me when it comes to having to take less here at home. Thank you to everyone who has supported me from day one and throughout the time I’ve been grooming from home.

I do not know when I will be back working from home as I do not know how things will be with this being our first baby. But I will keep everyone posted to the best of my ability.

I want to remind everyone that during my time off, I will be looking over my pricing and making adjustments. This is something I never want to do, but have to in order to make a profit. Unfortunately, with the cost of products, equipment, electricity, and water, and my own personal finances, I’m not charging enough to make a profit. I love what I do, but I need to be able to have a job where I can afford to give you guys the best quality products, service, and still make enough financially.

Thank you everyone again for all of your support and love that you have shown me. I am so excited for our baby to make her arrival ❤️
