These are our 10 Arkansas puppies coming on transport tomorrow . Mama Poppet took such good care of her babies. They are growing so big!!
Mama Poppet is coming tomorrow, too. Here is a little backstory about her. Mama had seven beautiful healthy babies. A few days after she gave birth, another mama came to the vet/Rescue, who was critically ill. She had been laboring a long time and was very sick. After an emergency cesarean, three healthy babies were delivered. Mama was too sick to take care of them so Mama Poppet stepped up and took care of all 10. You heard us correctly, this amazing mama not only took care of her seven but she added the other mama’s three puppies to her litter and raised them as a family.
Now all of the puppies are ready to come here with their mama and another adult female, who has been sitting at a shelter for over a year . We are saving 12 lives tomorrow. We can’t think of a better way to spend our Saturday.
Once the sick Mama is better, she will come, too , because Placing Paws Rescue never leaves a Mama behind!!
Teddy, Lenny and Flo are lab puppies from the Mama still in the hospital
Pearl, Hazel, Velvet, Churro, Gracie, Madison and Bella are Mama Poppet’s Mountain Curr Mix puppies .
Everyone will be ready to be adopted in two weeks.
