Our little show team had the best show ever! Minion won the open Hunter class and open Hunter championship as well as the ASB Hunter country pleasure class and ASB Hunter country pleasure championship. Paige and Macho Man were second in five gaited single bit and won the five gaited single bit championship. Elise Robinson won the adult WTC Academy Horsemanship and championship and took first and second in equitation on Mocha. Audrey Peterson won 14 and over WT horsemanship and the championship on King while Sydnee was second to her both classes on Tank. Sydnee also placed third and fourth in equitation and Audrey was fourth and fifth. They showed against each other. In the other split, CJ placed second and third in horsemanship and took 4th in equitation on Big Red. Elizabeth Jones was 5th in horsemanship. She had a good ride on Weezy, who is a lot of horse at shows! Taylin McCarthy won a second, two thirds and a fourth in the largest classes in the show and after only two rides on Mocha! Congratulations!

And Tank was second in the championship model class (halter). He was very proud of himself.

🎆🚫 OKAY LIBERTY... IT'S JULY 5TH. WE NEED TO TALK. 🚫🎆

As the great philosopher Joe Dirt once reminded us, fireworks come in all shapes and sizes and not just "snakes and sparklers."

But regardless of whether you're lighting off whistlin' bungholes, spleen splitters, whisker biscuits, ho**ey lighters, hoosker doos, hoosker don'ts, cherry bombs, nipsy daisers, with or without the scooter stick, or one single whistlin' kitty chaser or the mysterious one you've been saving since 2019...

It's time to put them away.

Fireworks are only permitted to be discharged within Liberty on July 3rd and July 4th from 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM.

That means:

❌ No "one last box."
❌ No "I found these in the garage."
❌ No "they're already lit."
❌ No "my cousin drove all the way from out of town."
❌ No "the dog wanted to see them."

The Fourth of July has come and gone. Your neighbors, pets, veterans, and first responders would all appreciate a little peace and quiet.

So gather up the leftovers, clean up the debris, hydrate, take a nap, and start planning for next year.
